Madrasatul Islah

Madrasa-tul-Islah is one of the great and oldest Islamic seminaries of India. It was founded in 1908 by Maulana Mohammad Shafie and flourished under the guardianship of Allama Shibli Nomani and Maulana Hameeduddin Farahi. It is distinguished from all other madarsa’s as it has adopted a unique syllabus which makes Quranic studies at the central point and asks all other sciences to be taught under the light of Quran.
To keep pace with other modern educational institution, it has included English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Political Science along with other important Islamic sciences in its syllabus. It has also established a technical institute (Hakim Mohammad Mukhtar Islahi Polytechnic) to equip its student with technical education so that they can go shoulder to shoulder with students of modern institutes.
